| In reviewing your
performance records in the Disclosure Document, there
seems to be little correlation between Program A and
Program B, even though both programs have achieved their
goals so far. Why is this so? |
 | Since these two programs have
different objectives, different criteria for taking
a position may be used. Program A's objective is to
outperform the S&P 500, a relative goal.
Program B's objective is to achieve a high
absolute return.

| Program A is limited to only
three Rydex mutual funds. Program B can invest in
almost any Rydex fund including what the Disclosure
Document describes as "inverse funds"

| During years when the market is
strongly trending (such as 2003) the correlation
will be higher than during years where the market
stays range bound (such as 2004) since range bound
markets will generate whipsaws in Program B more
frequently than in Program A. |
